Nick Hopkins has signed a Letter of Intent to play soccer at Cornerstone beginning in the fall of 2013. Nick proved to be one of the most talented goalkeepers in the state this season. A three-year varsity player at Forest Hills Eastern, Nick was named All Conference, All District, All Region and All-State 2nd Team as a senior. He was named the team's MVP as a senior after posting a 0.84 goals-against average and notching 10 shutouts during senior season. He allowed just 14 goals in 18 games during his senior campaign.
Coach Bell on Hopkins: "We feel Nick certainly has all the tools to become a very good goalkeeper. He's big, strong, kicks the ball well and has a good presence in goal.
Nick says he chose Cornerstone because "he really felt that God led him here. I am excited to be able to play close to home and really like the coaching staff and their spiritual commitment. "
