Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Jake Kuhn, a corner infielder and outfielder from Hampshire High School in Hampshire, Illinois. Jake was named to the Fox Valley All-Conference team after posting a .462 on-base percentage, 14 runs batted in, 24 runs scored, and 2 home runs.

When asked about choosing Cornerstone University, Kuhn said, "I chose Cornerstone University because I am excited to be a part of building a new program and increasing my relationship with Christ as he has shaped me into the person I am today. I am going to work hard on and off the field to succceed the best I can. My hopes and expectations for my time at CU are graduating with a degree in my field and winning a few championships."

Head baseball coach David Mitroff said, "Jake is a hitter that battles deep into counts and finds any way to get on base. He works incredibly hard and leads by example. He can handle the bat like a typical ‘2' hitter in the lineup and we are excited to have him. He projects as a corner outfielder at the college level with the possibility of playing first or third base. We are happy to have another member of the Fox Valley Conference (Ryan Harris signed a few months ago) joining the Cornerstone squad. We can't wait to see what Jake can do for us. "
