The Golden Eagles returned to action today after last night/s postponed game at Indiana Wesleyan and they came away with a 3-2 come from behind victory. Cornerstone gave up two early goals in the first half but responded with two late goals in the first half by Matt Osorio
and Richard Moylan
to take a 2-2 tie into the locker room at the intermission. The Golden Eagles turned up the pressure in the 2nd half outshooting the Trojans 10-4 and their pressure paid off in the 77th minute when Isaac Grotenhuis
found the back of the net with the game winner. Cornerstone outshot Taylor 20-11 on the game and had an 11-6 advantage in corner kidks. The Golden Eagles improve to 1-1-1 and will return to action on Wednesday when they travel down to Goshen to take on the Maple Leafs at 7:00 p.m.
