Today, CU athletics continues its women's soccer feature; "Free Kicks with …" Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the season, fans will have an opportunity to get to know the Golden Eagles a bit better through a question-and-answer session. Today, the series continues with junior captain, Maylani Siemasz.

Siemasz, a junior from Waterford has played in all 9 matches with 8 starts as a defender during the 2012 campaign for head coach Randy Strawser. Siemasz brings experience, physicality, and leadership to the back line for the Golden Eagles.

My earliest soccer memory is … Playing with the boys and always getting mad because they wouldn't pass me the ball.

What is something about you that other people don't know? I hate bridges; they scare me and every time I go over one I picture myself at the bottom of the lake trapped in my car.

After graduation, I would like to … Head home and go to Grad school to become an athletic trainer.
