The Golden Eagles made their first trip down to Siena Heights to play on their new turf field tonight and they walked away with a 1-0 victory to improve to 4-0 in the WHAC.  They played to a 0-0 draw in the first half with neither team having much of an advantage.  Cornerstone recorded four shots to Siena Heights three shots with the Golden Eagles putting two on frame to the Saints one on goal.  The Golden Eagles came out in the second half and pressured the Saints recording five shots in the first fifteen minutes and the fifth found the back of the net.  Brian Nimmo took a pass from Isaac Grotenhuis and buried it for the first goal.  Cornerstone out shot Siena Heights 9-4 in the second half of play.  Neither team would find the back of the net after the first goal and the game ended with a 1-0 victory for Cornerstone.  The Golden Eagles will return to action on Saturday when they host UM-Dearborn at 7:00 p.m.
