(Cascade, Mich.) The Golden Eagles finished an exciting fall season by winning their 5th WHAC Jamboree of the season with a team score of 308 at Quail Ridge GC. Cornerstone finished three strokes ahead of 2nd place Davenport (311) and 9 strokes ahead of third place Madonna (317). Heading into the final WHAC match of the season Cornerstone was 10 strokes behind Madonna. CU gained 9 stokes on the windy day but fell one stroke shy of tying for the WHAC championship. Marcus Brussee led all golfers with a one over par 73. Ben Vanbiesbrouck tied for 2nd with a 76. Ryan Zwier tied for 8th (79), Alex Lanning finished the day tied for 12th (80) and Josh Mick was 11 over par with an 83. Chet Vandenberg finished tied for 25th, 12 over par with an 84.
