Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Mitchell Ehman, an outfielder from St. Johns, Michigan. Mitchell is homeschooled and splits his time in Michigan and North Carolina. He is a talented, left-handed-hitter, who hit .482 last summer.  Balancing his time as a player on the Charlotte Stampede and the Grand Rapids Flames, Mitchell had an on base percentage of .592 and swiped 14 bases.

Mitchell is excited about his choice of Cornerstone. "I love the coaches and players on the baseball team and I really like the campus and Sports Management degree that is offered. I think CU will be a great fit for me and I can't wait to come. I hope that I will make some life-long friends, get a degree that will help me have a good career, improve my baseball performance and most of all, develop a closer walk with God," he said.
