GAME FLOW

Tarynn Hampton made the first basket of the game to put the Gray Wolves up 2-0 at 18:32 but Kathy DeYoung tied the game just .17 seconds later.  Cornerstone would go on a 13-4 run over the next 9 ½ minutes to take a 15-6 lead with 8:56 on the clock. The two team would go back and forth over the remainder of the half  but the Gray Wolves would make the last 4 points of the half to go into the locker room down just 27-24.  Cornerstone shot just 30.6% from the floor in the first half of play.  Cornerstone came out smoking in the second half making an 11-0 run in the first four minutes of play.  The Golden Eagles pushed the lead to 20 (52-32) about midway through the half.  The Gray Wolves responded with 19-4 run to cut the lead to 56-51 with 3:29 left but that would be as close as they would get and Cornerstone would go on to defeat Lourdes 67-56 to finish the season 19-11 overall and 13-9 in the WHAC (5^th Place).
