(Irvine, Calif.) The Golden Eagles traveled to Irvine to take on the #11 ranked Concordia Eagles and found another tough game in CA. Concordia swept Cornerstone 14-4 and 20-0. The Golden Eagles had a 3-2 lead after the 2nd inning but the Eagles scored 6 runs in the 3rd inning to break the game open and finished with a 14-4 win in Game 1. Elayna Citko had 2 hits and a RBI and Mandee Michielsen had a hit and an RBI for Cornerstone. The Eagles exploded with 20 runs in Game 2 and defeated the Golden Eagles 20-0. Elayna Citko collected 2 hits and Tahni Bruno had 1 hit in the loss. Cornerstone drops to 0-6 on the season and will travel over to Tucson, AZ to play the remainder of their games over spring break.
