(Chicago, Ill.) The Golden Eagles didn't fare that well in Game 1 losing 4-0. Beth Wyckoff got the only hit for Cornerstone in the game. Madison Bucilla took the loss on the mound. Cornerstone entered the 6th inning down 1-0 before giving up 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th to go down 4-0 in the game.

The Golden Eagles had an unfortunate replay of game 2 against Robert Morris yesterday in their second game today. They were tied 1-1 going into the 7th inning when Cougars scored 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to defeat Cornerstone 4-1. Dinah Gruppen and Kaycee Kuiper combined for a 4 hitter but the Golden Eagles bats remained silent producing only 1 run in the 3rd inning. Mandee Michielsen had a hit and an RBI in the loss. Dinah Gruppen had a hit and scored a run for Cornerstone. Cornerstone drops to 3-14 on the year. The Golden Eagles will return to action on March 30th when they travel to play Bethel College (Ind.).
