(Dearborn, Mich.) UM-Dearborn's Kim Lackowski held the Golden Eagles to one hit on the day and recorded an 8-0 complete game shutout. Elayna Citko got a pinch hit single in the top of the sixth but that would be the only hit of the day for Cornerstone.

The Golden Eagles hit much better in Game 2 collecting nine hits on the days. The Wolves scored five runs in the first inning so the Golden Eagles played catch up the whole game. Tahni Bruno, Jessica Kuhlman, and Beth Wyckoff all had two hits for Cornerstone. Melanie Creager went 1 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI for the Golden Eagles. Rachel Gruppen went 1 for 3 with an RBI. The Golden Eagles drop to 8-20 in WHAC and will end up facing the 3rd place team. The rest of the standings will be determined tomorrow. The WHAC Tournament schedule will be posted after all of the regular season games have been played.
