The Golden Eagles dug a bit of a hole in the first half as they trailed Madonna 1-0 after a goal in the 29th minute of play but Cornerstone came out on all cylinders in he 2nd half as they scored 3 goals in a 13 minute span to take a 3-1 lead.
Matt Osorio got the Golden Eagles on the board in the 56th minute on a long free kick.
Nic Tolsma scored his 10th goal of the season on an assist from
Richard Moylan to make it 2-1. Tolsma gave the Golden Eagles a 3-1 lead in the 79th minute off of a
Kwabe Boateng assist. Cornerstone improves to 5-6-1 overall and 1-1-1 in WHAC play. Cornerstone will return to action on Saturday when they face Concordia on the road at 2:30.
