The Golden Eagles couldn't slow down the Saints, who just 24 hours ago, defeated Davenport in a thrilling five set match. Aquinas took down the Golden Eagles in three games 25-10, 25-16, 25-21. Mollie Lounds led the Saints with 12 kills. Becky Albrecht led Cornerstone with 7 kills on 10 attempts. Tamara Bethke dished out 19 assists while Larissa Deshetsky had a team high 7 digs. Aquinas had 9 team blocks to CU's 6. 

The Golden Eagles are now 10-23 overall and 4-9 in the WHAC. Aquinas improved to 20-11 and 9-4 overall and remain a half game ahead of Northwestern Ohio for third place in the WHAC. Cornerstone will host their own invitational on Friday Oct. 29 and Saturday Oct. 30 beginning with a WHAC match on Friday vs. UM-Dearborn at 2pm.
