Brooke Carter guided 17th-ranked Cornerstone University to two victories over Top 20 teams to earn the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Baskeball Player of the Week award.

A 5-10 senior from Byron Center, Mich., Carter recorded her third double-double of the season in a 60-44 win against third-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University. The forward scored 14 points and grabbed

14 rebounds while dishing out four assists and blocking one shot. She score 19 points, had nine boards, blocked two shots and had three steals later in the week during a 74-60 win against No. 18 Bethel College (Ind.) despite being in foul trouble and playing only five minutes in the first half.

Carter ranks fourth in NAIA DII with 80 total rebounds and fifth in total blocks with 15. Cornerstone remained perfect on the year at 8-0 and will travel to Olivet College (Mich.) for a Nov. 23 contest.
