GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles got off to a great start in the game and built a 15 point lead (27-12) with 7:05 remaining in the half but the Racers would cut the lead to 9 points (36-25) by the end of the period. The Racers slowly erased the lead throughout the 2^nd half and took their first lead (50-49) with 7:58 remaining in the game. The game would remain close throughout the rest of the game. Melissa Veltkamp tied the score at 65-65 with 26 seconds remaining but the Racers drew a foul with 5.6 seconds on the clock and went to the foul line. Amanda Francis missed the first shot but made the second to put the Racers up 66-65. Cornerstone turned the ball over as the clock ran out and the Racers got their first WHAC win in their first WHAC game.
