Kelvin DeVries averaged 17 points and six rebounds to help third-ranked Cornerstone University post two victories, including a one-point win against the No. 15 team in the country, to be named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week for men's basketball.

DeVries, a 6-6 forward from Martin, Mich., scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and had two assists as the Golden Eagles defeated #15-ranked Indiana Tech 76-75 on the road. The senior then scored 24 points, had four rebounds and an assist and block while playing under 20 minutes in a 121-65 victory over University of Michigan-Dearborn. He shot .625 rom the floor, including .636 from behind the three-point line, and was a perfect 7-for-7 from the freethrow line.

DeVries is averaging 10.7 points per game and is ranked 16th in the nation for three-point fieldgoal percentage (.447). Cornerstone is now 16-2 overall and faces Siena Heights University on Jan. 12.
