Men's Indoor Track & Field - Wed, Mar. 2, 2011
Eleven members of the Cornerstone University Men's Track & Field team are set to compete at the NAIA Indoor National meet March 3-5 in Geneva, Ohio.
Seniors Kris Shear and Alex Green conclude their final indoor season each making his third trip to the championship meet. Shear looks to repeat his All-America finish in the 3,000 meter race walk from last season and Green hope to improve on his 2010 finish in the 5,000 meters.
Sophomore, Zach Yeo returns to run the 600 meters for the second time and is also scheduled for relay duty in the 4 x 400 meters. Joining him are junior Adam Duerksen, along with freshmen Spencer Perry and Ryan Versen. Jared Courtright will run the 3,000 meters.
Zach Bourdon, Peter Kaijala, John Klumpp and Eric Schroeder make up the distance medley relay squad.
