The Golden Eagles only made 1-18 (5.5%) from beyond the 3-point line while Concordia made 10-17 (58.8%) from outside the arc. Cornerstone shot 38% (27-71) from the floor and only 44% (11-25) from the foul line. Concordia shot 56.7% (34-60) from the floor and 90.9% (10-11) from the charity stripe.

GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles fell behind early and never recovered today as they lost 66-88 to the Concordia in the WHAC Semi-Final. Cornerstone held a 6-4 lead with 18:19 on the clock but Concordia tied the game at 6-6 at 17:42 and then took an 8-6 lead with 17:03 left in the half and they would not trail for the remainder of the game. Concordia built as much as a 20 point (45-25) lead with 1:30 left in the half and finished up 47-31 as the clock ran out in the 1^st half of play. Concordia increase the lead to 62-39 with 13:10 remaining in the game but the Golden Eagles did make a little run to cut the lead to 14 (50-64) at the 9:44 mark. Concordia would then go on a 16-4 run over the next 5 ½ minutes to seal the win as they went on to defeat the Golden Eagles 88-66.

The Golden Eagles will now have to wait to see what happens in the ratings and will hope that they get an At-Large berth to the NAIA Tournament.
