GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles started off a little slow today but they got it together and ended up hitting the century mark as they defeated Johnson & Wales University (Colo.) 100-69. The game was tied at 15-15 with 10:23 left in the half but the Golden Eagles went on a 20-8 run over the next seven minutes to gain some separation from the Wildcats. Wes Hudson led Cornerstone during that run hitting three 3-pointers in about a 1 minute period. The Golden Eagles finished the half up 43-31. The Golden Eagles came out running in the 2^nd half of play. Cornerstone increased their lead to 20 (53-33) with 17:16 and they began wearing down the Wildcats at that point. Cornerstone went on to shoot 69% from the field in the second half as they defeated Johnson & Wales 100-69 to advance to the Sweet 16.
