(Flushing, N.Y.) Nicki Erler qualified for 2010 NAIA National Championships in the marathon fourth the fourth time at the Flushing Township Half Marathon.

The senior from Big Rapids, MI ran 1:28:58 seconds which was more than four minutes under the automatic qualifying standard of 1:33:00. Her time was also a personal best, eclipsing the 1:30:29 she ran at the 2009 Flushing race.

Erler won the women's division by over three and one half minutes and placed twentieth out of 215 finishers.

A 2009 NAIA All-American in the marathon, Erler will run the 26.2 mile race on May 29 on the final day of this year's Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Marion, IN.
