GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles were up as much as 10 points 24-14 in the first half but the Maple Leafs made a late run and went into the locker-room down only 2 points with the score at 28-26. Goshen started out well in the second half and built as much as a 7 point lead (43-36) with 9:13 remaining in the game. Cornerstone would make a 10 point run to make it (46-43) with 6:38 on the clock. The teams were tied at 47-47 with 4:49 on the clock. Cornerstone took the lead with 4:31 and would keep the lead until :02 seconds when Goshen tied the score at 54-54 to send it into OT. The Maple Leafs would outscore the Golden Eagles 16-10 in the overtime period to defeat the defending national champs 70-64 in their season opener.
