GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles went up 8-0 to start the game but Bethel battled back to take the lead at 13:12 with 6:42 left in the half. The Pilots extended their lead to 26-18 at the half. Bethel pushed the lead to 9 32-23 early in the second half but the Golden Eagles would begin to cut into the lead and they would tie the game at 42-42 with 4:46 remaining. Cornerstone scored the next 4 points to make it 46-42. The teams would trade leads and have three more ties through the remainder of the game. Janae Tromblay tied the score at 52-52 with :09 seconds remaining but the Pilots would score on their next possession to make it 54-52 with :04 second to go. Cornerstone would turn the ball over and was forced to foul leading to 2 free throws by the Pilots to seal the victory for Bethel.  Bethel improves to 6-1 while the Golden Eagles move to 3-3.
