GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles led from start to finish today as they defeated University of Northwestern Ohio tonight to open WHAC play. Cornerstone led by single digits for most of the first half. They led 19-18 with 6:47 on the clock but made a run at the end of the first half outscoring the Racers 15-3 down the stretch to take a 34-21 lead at the half. Cornerstone extended the lead to 18 (43-25) with 16:37 on the clock but the Racers would respond and cut the lead back to single digits (46-37) with 10:27 remaining in the game. The Golden Eagles made a 13-2 run over the next 2:17 seconds to push the lead to 20. The Racers would cut into the lead down the stretch and would get it to 61-55 with 1:55 on the clock but Cornerstone scored the last 7 points of the game to finish with a 68-55 win.
