Justin Yoder joined Cornerstone's 1000-point club while averaging 22.5 points and three rebounds during two games to be named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors.

The senior from Shipshewana, Ind. scored 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting in a 74-71 win at Aquinas to reach the scoring milestone. He connected on a field goal with 4:41 left in the second half for points 1000 and 1001. He added three assists, a rebound, and a steal in the win. Later in the week, he scored 14 of his 30 total points during a five-minute span in the second half. He also had five rebounds and three steals as Cornerstone defeated Lourdes 77-66. Yoder had the hot hand of the week, shooting a blistering 65.2% from the field, 56.6% from behind the three-point arc, and 90.9% from the free throw line. Cornerstone improved to 6-6 with the two wins.

The Golden Eagles will host Grace Bible College on Saturday, Dec. 17th at 5pm.
