Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are excited to announce the signing of Bryce Baker, a left-handed pitcher from Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a senior at Tri-Unity Christian High School in Wyoming, Michigan, the 6'4" lefty went 7-1 with a 1.25 ERA. He had ninety-five strikeouts in forty-six innings on his way to being named All-District, All-County, and All-Area.

When Bryce Baker was asked about his choice of schools, he said, "I signed at Cornerstone University because of the reputation it has as a Christian school. I wanted to come to a place where I would be surrounded by Christian teammates who would help push me towards accomplishing my goals. There is no other university I would rather be."

Coach Mitroff said, "Bryce is the first player from the state of Michigan to sign with us. He is a big lefty that has command of three pitches and we think he can be a big help to us over the next three years. Our entire staff is excited to see what Bryce will do at Cornerstone."
