GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles took an early lead but the Cardinals kept it close through the first eight minutes of play. Cornerstone led 14-13 with 12:01 on the clock. The Cardinals took control at that point and reclaimed the lead (15-14) at 11:02 and they would not relinquish that lead through the remainder of the game. The Golden Eagles kept it close until the last five minutes. Concordia made a 15-4 run to finish the half and went into the lockerroom up 40-25 at the half. The Cardinals maintained a double digit lead for the entire second half. They built the lead to 25 points (64-39) with 8:32 left in the game. Cornerstone cut it down to 64-47 with 4:24 left but the Cardinals closed out the game with a 6-4 run to defeat the Golden Eagles 70-51. Cornerstone drops to 12-8 overall and 5-3 in the WHAC.
