GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles trailed only once today as they defeated Concordia 101-80 today. The Cardinals led 7-6 with 17:00 minutes left in the first half but that would be their only lead of the day. They tied the game at 13-13 with 13:27 on the clock but Cornerstone would increase the lead to 10 points (39-29) with 2:37 left in the half. Concordia would make a shot as time ran down to cut the lead to 46-39 at the half. The Golden Eagles made a 14-11 run to start the second half to push the lead back to double digits with 14:53 and they would keep that double digit lead for the remainder of the game. Cornerstone kept the pressure on the Cardinals and increased the lead to 86-66 with 5:07 remaining.
