GAME FLOW

The Golden Eagles trailed 0-2, 2-4, and 4-6 over the first five minutes of play but that would be the only times as they rolled to a 90-51 victory over UM-Dearborn tonight. Cornerstone made a 12-0 run to make it 16-6 with 11:27 on the clock. The Wolves kept the lead between 9 and 11 for the next eight minutes of play but the Golden Eagles would outscore the Wolves 16-6 down the stretch to take a 49-29 lead at the half. Derek Kingshott went 5 for 5 in the first half. The Golden Eagles extended the lead to 31 (70-39) over the first nine minutes of the second half and they continued to separate as they pushed the lead to 88-45 with 3:24 on the clock. Cornerstone would finish the game with a 90-51 victory. Cornerstone is now in a 3 way tie for second place with Madonna and Aquinas at 10-5 in the conference.
