GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Junior Zach Paavola had a nice finish to the fall slate for the men's golf team and thanks to an 11th place finish at the Egypt Valley Intercollegiate, was recognized as the WHAC Player of the Week. The honor is the first of the year for any CU golfer.

Paavola finished his fall season with three out of four scores below 75 and one of those, a round of 74 at Egypt Valley CC last week helped him to his third straight Top-20 overall finish in a tournament.

Paavola finished 11th place individually in the 70 player field and finished his fall campaign with a scoring average of 78.5.
