AUGUSTA, Mich. - Cornerstone played their best round of the 54-hole WHAC Championships on Tuesday and the 321 team score was good enough for them to move up one spot in the final standings where they finished eighth overall.
Zach Paavola was the top Golden Eagle scorer as the junior placed 23rd overall in the 47-man field. CU concludes their 2017-18 season with the end of the tourney.

Will Clarke (78) led the charge for Cornerstone on the final day of the WHAC Championships as they helped CU posted a 321 team score. They were followed in scoring by
Ty Mero (81) while
Jordan Leaman and
Josh Maas each posted rounds of 84.
Northwestern Ohio dominated the field, winning by 42 shots over second place with a 54-hole total of 840. Lawrence Tech (882), Indiana Tech (888), Madonna (913) and Aquinas (926) rounded out the top five.
The tourney marks the end of the 2017-18 campaign for Cornerstone and the last event of the careers for
Josh Maas and
Will Clarke.
