GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Athletic Communications department at Cornerstone University landed nine Top-10 rankings including three national runner-up finishes for various publications and digital media contests as awarded by the NAIA Sports Information Directors of America (NAIA-SIDA). CU took home second place finishes in Game Notes, Infographics and Feature Videos.
Three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) schools were recognized for outstanding publications at the 2018 NAIA-SIDA Annual Convention held in conjunction with the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and the Nation Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors (NACDA) Conventions.
Cornerstone was one of those schools as nine Golden Eagle entries were recognized in the Top-10.

This marks the fourth straight year Cornerstone has placed at least five Top-10 marks for national awards as the department landed seven Top-10 marks in 2014-15 led by a first place showing for wallpaper/splash page and six Top-10 marks in 2015-16, followed by five in 2016-17.
Other schools to have Top-10 finishes – Madonna (16), UM-Dearborn (11).
