Bowling adds transfer Jonathan Ryan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Head Coach Chris Slagter and the Cornerstone men's bowling program is excited to announce the addition of Jonathan Ryan to the program. Jonathan is initially from Hopkins, Michigan in the greater Grand Rapids area and is headed to CU after spending one year at Cedarville University in Ohio. He did not bowl at Cedarville as they did not have a program, but he was a standout bowler in high school with the Vikings. Jonathan is a three time conference champion, a two time regional champion, and earned fifth place individually in state competition at Hopkins. He also earned third individually at regionals, and was named a First Team All-State player as well as a two-time All-Conference player. Jonathan is the son of Kelly Todd Ryan and Karen Ann Ryan and he will major in Secondary Education while at Cornerstone.

Why CU?
"I chose Cornerstone because it is a Christian college nearby, that is affordable, and contains a great community of professors and students." - Jonathan Ryan
