Randy is in his 11^th year as the head coach for the women's soccer program at Cornerstone University. Coach Strawser came to Cornerstone from Westmont College (Calif.) where he served as an instructor of kinesiology and assistant soccer coach for the men's program from 1992 to 2000. Randy was head men's soccer coach at Mount Olive College (N.C.) from 1986-92.

Strawser is a 1984 graduate of Coker College (S.C.) where he earned his bachelor's degree in physical education. Strawser was an National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-South player and was named Athlete of the Year his senior year at Coker. He earned his M.A. in health and physical education from Appalachian State University (N.C.) in 1986. He served as graduate assistant on the men's soccer team that won the Southern Conference title in 1985. Strawser holds the Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the "B License" from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Strawser was named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coach of the Year in 2003 and 2006 and Region VIII Coach of the Year in 2007. Coach Strawser has led the Golden Eagles into the NAIA Regional Tournament four times. He led the Golden Eagles to the NAIA Region VIII Championship and to their first NAIA National Championship in 2007. He has been named WHAC Coach of Character three times (2007, 2008, and 2009)

Randy is married to Dianne Strawser and has three sons (CJ, Mitchel and Jadon) and a daughter (Elisha). Randy and Dianne reside in Cascade. Dianne also coaches the girls' soccer team at East Grand Rapids H.S.
