Women’s soccer earns forfeit win over Marygrove

DETROIT, Mich. – The women's soccer match at Marygrove College today has been ruled a forfeit from the host Mustangs. Cornerstone University will be credited with the 1-0 win as it improves the Golden Eagles to 11-6 on the season and 5-4 in the WHAC. CU closes the regular season on Saturday at home vs. Aquinas at 1 p.m.

Cornerstone University was informed informed on Monday afternoon by Marygrove College that the Mustangs are forfeiting Wednesday's match in Detroit due to numerous injuries.

Cornerstone (11-6-0, 5-4-0) will return to action on Saturday when they host Aquinas at 1 p.m. in the regular season finale.
