Game Flow…
Coming off a very impressive showing against Rochester on Tuesday, the women's soccer team entered league play looking to make a statement and they got off to a solid start with freshman Alexys Riksen (FR/Grand Haven, Mich.) putting the Golden Eagles up 1-0 with under 10 minutes to play in the first half.
That score held up for the first 13 minutes of the second but the Saints scored to even the match at 1-1. Then with just under four minutes to play SHU got what would turn into the match winner to post the 2-1 win.
