Scouting Concordia
The Cardinals have opened the year similarly to the Golden Eagles as they hold a 5-4-0, 1-1-0 record. CUAA has recorded 12 goals as a team coming from the foot of five different players this season. Julia Palushai is the goal leader netting four on just 11 shots for a team high .364 G/SH percentage, while keeper Maria Lulgjuraj has appeared in every game for Concordia this year and recorded 42 saves for a .778 save percentage.
Dominance against the Cardinals
Cornerstone commands the series history against Concordia only losing one time in regulation to the Cardinals since the CU program started in 1997. The Golden Eagles are 29-1-3 all-time against CUAA for a .967 winning percentage, which is by far the best percentage against a current WHAC team in program history.

Scouting Indiana Tech
The Warriors have struggled in the early season posting a 2-6-2 overall record. Last time out Indiana Tech recorded a 2-0 win over Lourdes to improve to 1-1 in the early season of conference play. Jessica Zurcher leads the team in both goals and assists with three of each for nine points on the year, while two other Warriors players have four points on the season for IIT. Tailer Roscoe has started every game in net giving up on average 1.75 goals per game for a .739 save percentage.
History against the Warriors
The Golden Eagles have controlled the series with Indiana Tech over the years holding a 21-12-1 all-time record vs. the Warriors. Although, in the past five years of play, CU has gone just 2-5 against Indiana Tech falling 3-2 in their last meeting on October 14, 2015.
Last Week Recap
Cornerstone stayed in Grand Rapids last week as they went down the road to Davenport and fell 2-0, then returned home to face Madonna and lost by the same score 2-0. The Golden Eagles have now lost four straight, scoring just one goal in the past two weeks of play bringing their record to 5-4-1, 0-3-0 on the year. CU looks to get back on track as they travel to Concordia and host Indiana Tech this week.
Streaky Play
Through the first ten games of the year, Cornerstone has already endured a five game winning streak and a four game losing streak. The last CU win streak of five or more came last year when making a push into the conference tournament. Last time the Golden Eagles suffered a four game losing streak or more was back in 2002 when they lost five straight in the middle of the season. The longest winning streak in school history for CU was in 2006 winning 11 straight.
