WYOMING, Mich. -
Claire Niergarth shot a 93 to lead all of the Golden Eagles on Saturday at WHAC Jamboree No. 3 as Cornerstone maintained their ninth place finish. CU shot a team score of 405 to finish at 806 for the two-day event at L.E. Kaufman Golf Course.
Claire Niergarth continues to show significant improvement as the junior finished with her fourth straight round in the 90's as she posted a 93 to lead all CU players in the second round of the leagues third jamboree.
Behind Niergarth was
Taylor Dean (102),
Whitney Krieger (103) and
Jesse Sheridan (107).
UNOH took the top spot with a two-day total of 635, followed by Indiana Tech, Madonna, Lawrence Tech, Siena Heights and Davenport.
CU will conclude their fall slate in two weeks at the Battle in Belmont, hosted by Davenport at Blythefield CC and Boulder Creek GC.
