After getting off to just a 1-4 start, the Saints have been dominant of late, going 5-1-2 in their last eight matches. SHU is a very balanced team offensively, as four players have three or more goals this season. Sophomore Kathryn Gordon is the current leader in goals with four. Defensively the Saints have some balance as well, as five different goalies have seen time in net. Meghan Bogg has started six of seven appearances in net and recorded the best record of 4-2-1.
History vs. the Saints
Cornerstone has seen a multitude of struggles vs. Siena Heights in the programs history, going 10-21-6 all-time. Cornerstone has lost each of the last four matches vs. Siena Heights with only one goal being scored in those matches. The last time CU won against SHU was in October of 2012 when they won 2-0 in Grand Rapids.
Petty's Two Assist Game
Junior
Savannah Petty increased her assist total to three on the season, recording both assists on the two goals scored at Indiana Tech. Petty's three assists this season are the first three assists in her career, as she did not have an assist in either of her first two seasons. Petty also becomes the first Golden Eagle to record multiple assists in the same game since 2014 when Josie Litty had two vs. Huntington.
WHAC Outlook
With just five regular season games remaining, there is still a lot to be decided in a tight race in the WHAC. No. 3 Northwestern Ohio leads the conference as expected with an undefeated 6-0-0 WHAC record. Indiana Tech sits right behind the Racers with a 4-1-1 conference record. Madonna, Concordia, and Siena Heights sit third through fifth respectively, while Cornerstone sits in sixth. Cornerstone has just two of the top five teams left to play in the 2017 regular season as they have yet to travel to Siena Heights and UNOH.

Randy Strawser, Cornerstone has seen the majority of their overtime games end in ties. Strawser holds an all-time OT record of 7-3-32, with five of those wins coming in the first overtime period.
