SYLVANIA, Ohio - The Golden Eagles dropped their final two games of the season on Wednesday evening against Lourdes as they fell 5-3 in the opener and 16-0 in the nightcap. Cornerstone finishes their 2017 campaign at 11-31 overall and 4-16 in the WHAC.
 
Game 1—The Golden Eagles took a 1-0 lead thanks to an unearned run in the first inning. They tacked on a couple more in the fifth inning, one of which came off the bat of 
Moriah Wilke. Lourdes rallied for five runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-3 lead. Cornerstone put two runners on in the seventh inning but couldn't get either of them home. 
Annie Fila had two hits and scored two runs. 
Moriah Wilke also had two hits.
 
Game 2—Offense was hard to come by for the Golden Eagles in the second game, as the Gray Wolves outscored them 16-0 and outhit them 17-3.

Cierra Langejans had the hits for Cornerstone.
