LIVONIA, Mich. – Cornerstone fell 1-0 on the road at Madonna, ending a four game winning streak. The Golden Eagles now move to 6-3-1 on the year and 2-1-0 in conference play. CU will return home for a short one game home stand vs. Concordia, before hitting the road yet again four three more WHAC matches.

Cornerstone was playing heavily on the defensive end in the first half, as they did not record a shot in the first 45 minutes.
Mikayla Johnson and the defense did an excellent job holding off the fast paced Madonna offense though stopping all nine shots to keep the score 0-0 at the break.
The Golden Eagles were unable to hold off the Crusaders in the second half, as MU finally got on the board in the 66
th minute on a goal by Julia Henning. Cornerstone was able to find an answer resulting in a 1-0 loss that ends the Golden Eagles four game winning streak.
