GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles hit their home pitch for the first time of the season on Friday evening against Huntington. Erica Mick netted the lone goal of the game to propel CU to the victory. Cornerstone will be return to action on Saturday evening for a match against Trinity Christian.
Game Flow
The teams jumped out to a fairly even start, but freshman Erica Mick gave Cornerstone an advantage late in the first half that the Golden Eagles would hang on to for the remainder of the match. Mikayla Johnson made four saves in goal to earn the shutout victory.
