SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The men's tennis team played their final road match of the fall season on Saturday and the Golden Eagles came away with an 8-1 win over host, IU-South Bend. The victory lifts CU to 3-0 on the year and they will play host to Roosevelt on October 20 at NorthPointe Christian High School.
Doubles Results - CU swept the three matches as they got 8-0 wins on court 1 (
Tomas Yacuzio/
John Cocoma) and court 3 (
Mateo Jimenez/Aliaksei Kanstansinau).
Singles Results - The dominance continued into singles play as the Golden Eagles saw a pair of players win by the finals of 6-0, 6-0 (Kanstansina and Jimenez) whileÂ
Nick Kleitch won 6-3, 7-6 on hsi court.
What's Next? Cornerstone will play one final match this fall as they host Roosevelt on Saturday, October 20.
