GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - For the first time in program history, the Golden Eagles defeated Judson University dominating the match on Saturday morning 6-1. CU swept the doubles matches to earn the first point and followed that by winning five of six singles matches, improving their record to 2-0 on the year. Cornerstone women's tennis is done for the fall season and will pick action back up vs. Albion College on the first of February.

Cornerstone swept the doubles matches to start the day as
Valentina Garcia and
Marissa Menichini won 6-2 at the number one spot to highlight the action.
Alayna Bowman and
Nicole VerHulst won 6-1 at number two doubles, while
Lauren Brendel and
Abbie Meeuwsen won 6-2 in the third and final doubles spot.

Cornerstone would win at every singles spot except number three singles.

Abbie Meeuwsen was the only Golden Eagle to not let up a game to her opponent, winning 6-0, 6-0 at number six singles.
Cornerstone's fall season has concluded at 2-0 and they will pick action back up against Albion on the first of February.
