Last Week Recap
Cornerstone concluded a tough November with an 80-65 loss at the hands of Lourdes University. The Golden Eagles boasted three players in double figures against the Gray Wolves, but had no answer for the balanced scoring attack of Lourdes. Cornerstone was led by
Rebekah Crosby, who tallied 14 points and 6 rebounds.
Shelby Nyboer added 13 points, while
Missy Maas set a career best with 10.
CU kept it close for the majority of the game, trailing by five at the half. Lourdes was able to pull away in the second half, putting up 28 points in the fourth quarter as Cornerstone looked to push the pace and get back in the game. With the loss, the Golden Eagles will look to snap their losing skid this week with two conference matchups.
