GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles will honor their four seniors on Wednesday evening in the home finale as Michigan-Dearborn makes a visit to Mol Arena. The team will then close out the season with three road games, beginning with Concordia on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles fell to Madonna on Monday by a score of 57-52 in Livonia to bring the losing streak to seven games.
Second Half struggles
Cornerstone led 30-21 at halftime against UNOH last Saturday, but a 32-point third quarter ended up propeling the racers to a 69-49 victory. The loss was the second blown halftime lead of the year, as the Golden Eagles also surrendered a five point lead at UNOH in Mid-December, falling 76-70. Cornerstone is being outscored by an average of 8.23 points in third quarters.
Balanced Effort
A total of 13 different Golden Eagles found the points column, while 14 different players gathered at least one rebound against UNOH last Saturday. On Monday, all 12 Golden Eagles that saw the court gathered at least one rebound.

Taylor Richards tallied a season-high 19 points and 8 rebounds for Cornerstone in Monday's loss to Madonna.
Scouting Michigan-Dearborn
The Wolverines enter the match with a 20-5 overall, 12-4 WHAC record. Most recently, Michigan-Dearborn threatened WHAC-powerhouse Indiana Tech, but fell just short in overtime, 81-79. UM-Dearborn is averaging 74 points per game. The Wolverines lead the WHAC in offensive rebounds per game with 14.1 and steals per game with 11.4. Sade Lemons leads the team with 13.6 points per game. Michigan-Dearborn made 15 three-pointers against Cornerstone on January 9.
