GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) released their Runners of the Week, and once again sophomore Luke Pohl and junior Nygia Pollard find themselves as the award winners. Pohl now has won the award three times this season, while Pollard has earned the award four times. Both athletes have the most wins this season of any runner in the conference. 
 
Sophomore Luke Pohl led CU once again with a time of 25:32 at the Midwest XC Challenge hosted by Taylor. This time was good for second place individually and he helped the team to a second-place finish as well. Pohl has been the Golden Eagles top finisher in every race this season.

Junior Nygia Pollard led CU to a third-place finish as a team at the Midwest XC Challenge after finishing seventh individually with a time of 18:35. Pollard came two seconds short of her PR in the 5k and has led Cornerstone individually in every race this season.

CU will have a month off before traveling to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for their final race of the fall.
