GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Golden Eagles faced off against their third consecutive opponent from the state of Indiana on Saturday when Huntington paid a visit to Mol Arena. The Foresters maintained a lead throughout the entirety of the contest and ultimately prevailed 75-62, setting Cornerstone's record back to 1-2 overall heading into Tuesday's contest at Spring Arbor.
How it happened:
- Huntington hit six free throws in the first quarter and led 17-10 after the opening frame
- The Foresters used an 11-0 run in the second quarter to take a 41-29 lead at halftime.
- Kennedy Helderop and Sterling DeGayner made things interesting by hitting back-to-back three-pointers in the third quarter, but Huntington went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc in the third quarter and held a 61-42 advantage.
- Allyson Richards scored nine points in the fourth quarter, but the Golden Eagles ultimately fell 75-62.
By the numbers:
28 – Cornerstone committed 28 turnovers, compared to Huntington's 18.

Allyson Richards once again led the way with 19 points along with 9 rebounds.
