Men's Volleyball puts up strong fight in 3-1 loss to No. 5 Lourdes

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Alex Bahn and the Cornerstone Men's Volleyball program welcomed WHAC powerhouse Lourdes to Mol Arena on Friday night. Ranked fifth in the nation, the Gray Wolves on paper could very well be the most dominant team the Golden Eagles face in their inaugural season. Cornerstone put up a strong fight in the first set before falling 25-21. After a 25-13 setback in the second frame, the Golden Eagles were able to prevent the sweep by taking the third set 25-22. Lourdes closed out the match with a 25-10 victory in the fourth set. The loss brings the Golden Eagles to 0-4 overall, 0-2 WHAC heading into Tuesday's match down the road at Aquinas.
