UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – In a tough fought battle with a Division-II team, CU came out on top defeating Saginaw Valley State 4-3. Doubles took two out of three matches and then CU split the singles slate with the Cardinals to secure the victory. At one singles, Ximena Matamoros was dominant in her 6-1, 6-0 defeat of Sara Neves. Alayna Bowman and Camila Ibarra also captured victories in singles competition.
