GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Cornerstone honored six seniors in the team's final game of the 2021 season and the team ended the year with a 1-1 tie vs. Lourdes.
Kylie Adams scored the lone goal for CU, while the Gray Wolves responded in the second half. Cornerstone ends the 2021 season with a 58-2, 2-7-1 WHAC record as they do not qualify for WHAC Tournament play next week.

- In a fitting start to Senior Day, senior Kylie Adams scored the first goal of the game in the 11th minute to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 advantage.
- Right after the goal, Adams recorded another shot that went just wide left.
- Cornerstone held Lourdes to just two shots in the first half and keeper Angelina VanderBeek had to make just one save as CU led 1-0 at the break.
- The second half struggles continued for CU, not being able to hold the lead as Chloe Shaffer scored in the 56th minute for Lourdes to tie the game at 1-1.
- Lourdes held much of the possession the rest of the second half and outshot Cornerstone 4-3 in the period but neither team found another goal as the game went to overtime at 1-1.
- In the first overtime, Julie Gouilliart recorded an early shot for CU but it was saved by LU keeper Emmy Rodger.
- Arianna Rau got a second shot in the overtime, but no goals as the game went to overtime number two.
- In the second overtime, neither team could get anything going as the game resulted in a 1-1 tie to end the year for the Golden Eagles.
